Plantar sucks. I believe I have had it for about a year in my right foot. Left one hurt for 6 months. Active job on my feet no time for recovery.

Good plan! That’s funny, my first tri I literally had been swimming for only 2 wks...it (I)was pathetic! But by the next year I was fast in the water and felt good! I haven’t raced in yrs and to be honest I’ve only done sprint distances. I’ve since decided swimming laps in a pool is too freaking boring and stopped racing. :)

Doooode, you need to stretch the soles of your feet, calves... tight hammies and low back might be tight adding to the PF issue as well. It also helps to run in minimalist shoes and do yoga :whistling:;)@LLPoolJ

I rode! To borrow a phrase, I was Voluncheering at the Non-Dot race at Santiago Oaks this morning... :D Fun time, fun event... Even saw a few forum superstars. @mtnbikej , @horsebikerider , @cajun , @H2oChick , @doublewide , and @ridinrox . Also had the chance to cheer on @MattB and @MnMDan at the top of the ball buster climb.

And @xhuskr who was modeling the 2019 prototype IMTB riding gear. @Mikie - How long before this is approved? :p

I think I managed 8 miles and 1300 feet. Fun run down from the top... Little rougher than I remember, but that might be the aging memory.

Yes and no. I ride often enough to where I take it for granted because being self-employed, I can leave from home at any moment and I have access to several destinations, locally. My time is limited though, so my rides are quickies, just 10, sometimes 15 miles. I generally feel satisfied with each ride, regardless of my personal accomplishment, or not, because it's always at least exercise to me, and I most certainly feel mentally and usually physically energized afterward.

But it's not as black and white as that makes it sound. I just get bored easily, I guess.

Haha, that’s complicated! I get it tho.
Even if I’m dying on a ride or run, I’m usually a little bummed when I get to the finish..the mtns are so peaceful and yet exhilarating, and I love the work...slightly masochistic maybe:eek: :D

First day of Mammoth riding !! One week of fun. It is going to be 80-83 degrees and sunshine all week. Did i already say this is fun?? :D
Relatively easy loop today: Uptown to the chairlift Stump Alley. We went up. Then my wife got a flat, so took the gondola down and fixed it there. (I had road bike tubes in my bag, duh ). From Main lodge Downtown to Stump Alley chair lift. Brake through all the way along the mountain, back to Downtown. Brake through is one of my favorite trails. Basically a tough blue. Always changes, nice and bumpy too. Paper Route to Juniper and then home. 15.7 miles of actual riding but unclear how much climbing it was. Definitely the usual 2/3 down and 1/3 up when we are here. Ok it is definitely cheating but we tend to ride longer plus 6-7 days ...:)

SkyPark again today. 21.66 miles and 4,121 ft. I crashed on lower Arrow from a pedal strike on a root, yet landed at the best possible spot ... super soft dirt covered with pine needles. It was like landing on pillows. Glad I did not go flying into a tree because of a dumb mistake like that. :cautious:
