The rare weekend I thought I’d pedal, no way, Painted Desert has high clay content. The mud is epic, even for walking.

Indoor sports only today.

 

Putting in my time so I can ride manana

 

I did not ride today because I am still waiting for this to heal. It is my dropper post thumb. LOUD NOISES! dklsjflajfldjfs!

 

I haven’t ridden my bike since Tuesday last week. A bout with the flu and now a bit of a respiratory issue have kept me off. I tried to ride Sunday afternoon, but it was clear I wasn’t ready yet....balance was off, joints were still achey, and my lungs weren’t happy.

 

Dang J. Hope you feel better soon.

 

You can ride without using the dropper post, y'know.

Are we sure? This sounds like the super flu.

He needs to get better, though. You can't imagine the Sh!t the Professor and I think up without him there to add some stability.

 

I've got the suds, too. I think that those weather changes we experienced during the PCE ride have done me in. The next day, I felt a head cold coming on and now it feels like it's moving into my chest. I was planning on a ride today but it hurts to breathe so I am gonna lay low until this passes.

BTW, I NEVER get sick. This is a rare occurence.

Yeah I got it from a video call to one of my relatives. But like Poodle dog and poison oak, it is no match for my superior immune system. Slides right off of me and infects those around me. How ya feeling @SnakeCharmer ? Are you self quarantined yet?

Shouldn't be joking. This virus is becoming a pandemic and it will get worse before it gets better. Let's hope we all get through this safe and well.

 

Yes, my apologies, not a joking matter at all. Hoping the best for all those affected directly esp those that have lost loved ones.

 

I would ride it. After a couple dozen pushes the pain usually stops-or I forget it's there.

 

And now the professor is down for the count. They're dropping like flies around here!

Can't say I'm sick just feel off, crazy super tired but can't sleep and feel like my head is in a vise. Thinking it's allergies at this point. Working on my 12oz curls to see if I can kill it...

 

Mine is moving into my chest.

It is allergies. There is a huge high pressure dome over us and it's causing severe allergy reactions. Add pollen from the plants that are starting to pop and there you have it. It's playing a part in my condition as well.

 

So nothing a half dozen Shocktops won't fix doc...?

 

I never get sick either but when I do it’s every 4-6 years and it hits hard. I’m usually in bed for 3-4 days. I’m due/overdue.

Didn’t ride today either- stacked meetings from 6am until just 10 minutes ago.

 

How many action items did you end up with?

 

No sir. Shock top, while refreshing, would only be a bandaid. We must kill this allergy bug. Only Jack Daniels has the medicinal strength to get the job done.
