I really toyed with the idea of choosing the "my mom wants me to get out and meet new people" option, but I know how seriously you are about such things

I imagine many of the OG's here will have come from that 'other place, that WTMBRWRAR (website that must be remembered with reverence and respect). I really do appreciate that you took the time to create this so that loose bunch of . . . . . riders . . . . didn't just fade into obscurity. I met some people I consider to be very good friends there. I'm sure others have already met friends here too. The rest are potentially just friends we haven't met yet.

Apparently SPAM does work......because I vaguely remember a certain webmaster SPAMMING another board. Thought that I may check it out, and probably not stay. Well, we see how well that worked out.

 

The other forum is probably still discussing DHing, Fully Loop, Santiago Oaks, food (Tacos), beer, what tires and other high-end equipment to get, teasing the girls when they post, with rare but awesome ride reports from out-of-state.

I forget why I came, honestly. Just followed Mikie and started putting bike-related stuff on my mind into words. Figured much of it is too technical still.

 

Mikie invite on str was how I found Imtb, and I checked out the place, and liked, and decided to stay ! once in a while, I do check str but I agree with trail ninja, the discussions over there still are the same...happy to be here !

Seriously though being fairly new to the sport I found the site by searching the net for new places to ride and just liked it here. I kept seeing the screen name "Mikie" and it took me some time to realize it was the Mikie Watson I had known for many years prior to my MTB'ing days...

 

I honestly don't remember the details of just how I glommed onto the site.

Having seen Runs with Scissors contribution of, "I honestly don't remember the details of just how I glommed onto this site." sparked an addition to my list of ridiculous options list, and by adding it at the bottom, it zeroed out the votes. I tried to reclaim it . . . but, it's too late.

So not only does this give you a chance to re-live your precious vote. It sparks a great opportunity to throw me under the bus, one more time, for an additional subject.
