I would LOVE to play again. I have all of my gear. I never played as a kid, but I played a bunch of adult beginner league from 1999-2005. I can even do backwards cross-overs - woo whooooo!

Not following to closely since Rangers are out and I have no cable, only NHL TV which isn't showing anything since NBC Sports is airing the games.

 

I'm in the same boat with out cable. I signed up with hulu for one or two months and can watch most of the games.

 

Meh....didn't seem to help the Devils this past year with the next "guaranteed mega-star".

@Makoto appears to have prophesied correctly when he claimed the Avs would have a hard time getting out of the west. They are being dominated by the Stars and find themselves down 0-2 in the series. Ruh Roh. I've always found the Stars to be a pretty boring team, but they are boring right through McKinnon and Co. Boooooo!

 

I'd like you to think that I know what I was talking about...but I think the phrase, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut" is more fitting. Have faith, the Av's are a good team. Some subtle tweaks and they can get right back into the series! Says the blind squirrel.

 

@herzalot the Stars were fun to watch back in the Mike Modano and Joe Nieuwendyk days.

In fact, based on the usual start times for the NHL, I don't think the Stanley Cup will be decided for this season before next season starts!

 

Avs playing the Vegas Kaniggits in Tahoe this afternoon. Well, that turned into a slush fest, so it was stopped and will resume at 9 pm. That Tahoe sun is brutal. Not sure how they are lighting the rink. Maybe Bagger Vance style.
