Hello from a new member

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself on the forum. I don't have a ton of experience on a mountain bike but I raced motorcycles in the desert for a few years so hopefully there is some translation there. Currently riding a trek 29er and hoping to get into xc racing in the next few months. Live of the 15 freeway and have a bunch of trails within a few minutes of my driveway. Love having the ability to ride out my front door and be surrounded by a mountain bike playground. No more loading the truck up and driving a few hours to ride!

If you don't mind driving a little more south there are killer trails off the 215 in Murrieta. I love showing the trails but they are getting a bit crowded these days - hopefully I'm not responsible for that.

 

Would love checking out some of the trails in Murrieta at some point!

 

Welcome! You'll find a few others on the forum from the Corona area, and they are all friendly! I'm farther south in RSM, but I get up your way occasionally...

I would take a look at the "I rode my bike today" thread in the Ride Reports forum. That will give you an idea of the variety around here...

Welcome. On this forum you will find folks who will pedal your legs off or talk your ear off. I have had some of the best rides of my life with IMBT folks in my short time on this forum. The information here is amazing... and if it can be done on a mountain bike, there is probably a report on it over in the ride reports. The riding skill and tech knowledge on this forum is humbling and amazing at the same time... and then there is @herzalot ...
