ebikes were more fun when you had to build them yourself. These factory 250W pedal assist ones that top out at 20mph are too puny. I need 15kW and a top speed of 80mph.

 

Hey I was just trying to say something stupid... I realize now that I don't have to try.

 

If you were doing a very fast DH on an e-bike and you were already rolling at a speed beyond what you could do pedaling very fast DH, would an e-bike go even faster if you used the power assist?

 

If a tree falls in the woods as an ebiker passed but didn't hear it, did it make a sound?

Are you implying that e-bikes actually erase other sounds that are near them?!

And if so, does that mean that e-bikers communicate to each other via sign language?

Yes, they sound like a vacuum cleaner coming up behind you.

 

It makes white noise and cancels out my will to keep riding the same trail...
