Hell Ride 2019 - Oct 26

There is no posting for the actual Bike 4 Bender Hell Ride happening this Saturday, so here ya' go! It looks like the shuttle buses are all full, which is great! I'll be loading your bike in the morning, so say hi! Be sure to hang out at the post-ride party at Hangar... it's always a blast!
I hope to see the Nugget crew along the way, and wish the Hellacious crew a good time in Wrightwood!

 

We’ll look for you at the brewery in the morning. Will you ride the course? Also, what time is last call?

 

Yeah, I'm on the 7:00 bus. Due to illness, I doubt I'll ride the whole thing. Tentative plan is to bail at Angelus Oaks and ride Loch Leven down to Hwy 38 and then the wash trails back. Should still be a great ride and get to do the upper SART sections. And climb up MCR which builds character!

True story re. memory loss: My wife says that at the ER I kept telling her every three to five minutes to make sure they didn't cut my IMTB jersey off as it was my favorite!

That and "Don't tell them it was an organized ride! I was just riding a bike in the hills..."

 

Sounds like me. I must have asked a few times where my jersey is at and after the hospital. Where's my jersey "They cut it off" she says...next day, "where's my jersey at"....

And of course you get the letter from the insurance company asking if anyone else was involved/responsible for the accident so they can pass the cost to them......Nope just me, I'm responsible for my own injuries....

 

I'm on the 7am bus also.. so look for a RFX with an awareness bell..Sorry no jersey money goes to the parts..

 

7:00 bus is the best bus!!!

I'm in for a Heavenly ride. Middle Control to Glass and back. Pinch nerve still holding my back a bit. Then will be hanging at the Hanger. If you see me, buy me a beer!

I will be leaving early as I will be attending a roller derby event that my booth will be set up at in the afternoon. In Garden Grove.
