Had this weekends annual fishing trip cancelled for me by work...I WAS going to Tom's Place with some guys. They fish Rock Creek, I ride Lower Rock Creek Trail, then we get together that night and play cards.

Work said I have to stick around, Sooooooooo....

I'm either looking for a ride on Saturday or going to host one... a big one. (Naturally that is if I don't get called in on Saturday as well...) :evil:

It's tempting, but for me it's a 3 hour drive. If it was new dirt I would prolly jump on it...

I am thinking of doing an Adventure Ride since the temps are going to be lower.
Either the "I Hate Me Epic" with a twist towards a relatively much easier ending which is a tour through the San Emigdio Mountains up here in Frazier Park,
Or, I saw some fire roads over on the North West side of Pyramid that I want to explore....

Or, I could connect Mt. Abel to Mt. Pinos to Frazier Mountain and drop down Trail 120. That would be like a 6 to 8 hour ride with some mega climbing guessing around 8,000 feet?

It could all end at my house with Modelo/805 and a Sub on my front porch... :think:

I did it earlier this year and completed it. Took 5 hours to complete. Started at 6am sharp. :shock:

 

That is the 2nd worst trail I have ever ridden. 1st was Blinn Trail in at Santa Margarita Lake.

I decided to ride local tomorrow.

I have no STRAVA of this and no pics but will get both this time. UPSed and Jennifer (brave souls) are going to do the ride with me. One other can go as it is a shuttle ride but I will tolerate no bitchin'! This is a wilderness type ride 29.8 Miles long with 5,130 feet of climbing.

Meet time is at my house at 8:30am. Text me to get my address...

What a great ride today. UPSed, Jennifer, and I kicked it with a Desert Tortoise on the climb in Tecuya Creek Canyon and then saw 3 bears! One was in a tree above me and then dropped to run away just after I passed by (inside I screamed like a little girl). Ride report and pics will be way awesome....
