Even after dozens of descents on Whiting Ranch, I still manage to fall on sleepy hollow. This is what happens when you go from “surviving” downhills to “shredding” downhills.

Still, I’ll be back on the bike as soon as my knee swelling goes down.

Note: I should have rested more at 4 corners. Lost focus on a turn and hit some sand.

Nope, never felt like I pushed it hard enough to justify armor. Just a helmet and some gloves.

Ice it every few hours for 15-20 mins until the inflammation goes down. I went through this for months and months back in 2011 and in the hot season, I still need to do it once in a while after a big ride.

Almost ready to ride! As expected, the skin stuff hurts the most, but heals the fastest. Wrist is still a bit twisted, and knees a bit sore. Did a sidewalk session yesterday and feeling like I can ease back on the trails anytime now. Thanks yo!
