This is the continuing saga of the Voodoo Tom Mikie exploration rides between Frazier and Alamo Mountain. This looks to be about a 16 mile ride with front loaded climb That ends with about a 1000 foot climb at the end. Should be almost all Singletrack maybe some duo track in there as well. This will end up on Piru Creek Trail, a repeat of last weekends exploration ride with a little pavement of a very quiet probably no cars road back to the trailhead.

Meet Location: Meet at Smokey Bear Road off interstate 5 just above Pyramid Lake. We load up there and drive through Hungry Valley to the Gold Hill trailhead.

Ride Pace: Social Cruise

Rider Limit: 5 max

Food/water suggestions: I’m bringing 100 Oz Camelbak w/ Tailwinds and a couple food bars. Also bringing a headlamp just in case as well.

I'm bringing the same stuff and... a few cold beers for when we finish, if we finish... Plenty of room in my truck if anybody wants to shorten the drive.

Bummer, I left my FEX at the shop today for a dual brake bleed. I assume that this is not going to be a hardtail friendly ride?

 

Actually a Hardtail might make for a better ride. See you there!
