Now try to guess where it is located? Cheap land, plentiful water, cold in December... Florida? North Carolina? Or did he want to get away from US land micro-management and build it in Spain? The trees tell me Florida or North Carolina.

Imagine how good you could get at surfing taking out the equation of Mother Nature and imperfect waves. That is a perfect training ground where you could try the same turn over and over.

That was ridiculous! I loved how the 43 yo was jumping up and down like a kid when he first saw it!!! The hardest thing about surfing that sets it apart from all other sports is that you do not get many chances to repeat and practice. Every wave is different. Every day is different. Hell, every 20 mins. is different. And, you have to battle others to get a wave. No two waves are the same. A situation like this could help you get really good at the act of surfing in a hurry. Of course, when you went out to the actual lineup, it would return to paddle battles and pecking order.

Thanks for posting. Slater is a god to me. Perhaps because we look so much alike... :whistling:

Thanks Oaken and dirty. If ever there was a reason to go to Bakersfield other than to visit Client's!
