Yes and no, more no than yes. @DangerDirtyD wants it, but needs to make sure it fits and feels right. I've been traveling for work, and his daughter was born just a few days ago, so we just haven't been able to coordinate a test ride. Should be in the next few days. So, the bike is provisionally spoken for, but I will update as soon as it's official either way.

 

I mentioned to my wife I’m shopping for a bike, but it was only a mention while she was distracted, so the stink eye she gave me didn't manifest into an unequivocal “Hell No!” Well, I told her there’s a bike, so...all I need now is for her mom to facilitate as a babysitter. Oh, and some coin...anyone interested in a gently used and responsibly-maintenanced 2013 Trek Slash 9 (26er)?

I really had some misgivings about selling the bike, but the way it all played out really Smashed those (yuk yuk yuk). Really a win win serendipitous kinda deal.

 

This is bittersweet... I'm happy for Wolfie, but 26 is now officially dead. The last guy to own one has jumped ship!

Haha, yes, I was waiting for a variation on that! Good moves all the way around. On the way home I was driving down the 210, contemplatively staring out the windshield when something caught my eye. I looked down at a set of extra pedals sitting on my passenger seat, now with no bike to go on, and then gazed back out the windshield with a subtle one-sided smile. It was like the cheesy cliff hanger on a season finale.....but for an HBO show that takes like 1.5 years in between seasons.
