I did a search but it was kicked back for being too short.

Anybody been there yet? I'm sure a few of you have seen the "hype" popping up the last few years about it being the next MTB destination. Here's a teaser for those that haven't seen it. We're going to go check it out in August.

Never thought of it being a mountain bike destination. Looks like a cool place to visit. Will have to check it out.

Never heard of it. Always good to see areas embrace mountain biking though.

Those dusty trails make OC's look moist. Looks like a fun place to visit for a few days.

The biking looks fun, and Great Basin NP's nearby - a great park! Hiking Wheeler Peak, touring Lehman Caves, checking out the Bristlecone pines, in one our least-visited national parks. 11 hours from SD, been there 3X, Ely's a funky, old-school town.

Makes me think of what Fruita was probably like in 1990.

close to the old California trail (off the Oregon trail). A lot of very cool late 50's vehicles lying just off the road in the reservation lands. Middle of nowhere near the forgotten part of Oregon
(1/2 way there). Check out Ruby lake even farther off the main path.
