I have the aggressor rear also and notice the same thing, if it’s not at a lower pressure the back wheel doesn’t bite. But in fairness it’s almost time for a new tire and I’ll probably go with another aggressor.

That’s what I was thinking. I don’t need that kind of casing either. This will be a replacement for a rear Ardent EXO TR. Thanks for the info

This will pair nicely with my current Assegai front tire... Ass-Dissector combo. Waiting for the Boobegai to come out so I can move the Assegai to the rear where it belongs.

As much as I love the latest and greatest from Maxxis my next Enduro tires will be Goodyear's Newton. Their sidewalls are so much tougher. No sealant weeping at all.

Borrowed these from MTBR. Looks like a Forekaster on steroids.

My friend in AZ has the tire mounted up now. I told him to ride the hell out of it this weekend and then report to me.

Looks an awful lot like the Ardent.

With Cannell seeming like a good excuse to tire up, I placed an order today. Doing front and rear, MaxxTerra EXO 2.4. If this is a happy medium between the Rekon 2.4s I have on now, and the DHR2 2.4/DHF 2.5 combo I started with, I'll be a happy camper.

From what I've read on the interweb so far I think you made a good choice.

Third ride on the Dissectors today. I said in a different thread after the first ride that I thought that on the rear it had a tendency to slip out more than my Rekons. I would like to formally retract that statement. Haven't felt that at all the last two timesout, with today's ride being largely the same trails I was on for the first ride. Maybe some of the newness just had to get worn off? I don't know if that's a thing like with car tires, but would make sense. Anyway, I'm really happy with this tire front and rear. Really feels like the Rekon/DHF love child that I was hoping for.

I posted earlier in this thread that my Aggressor was lacking in traction. The last few rides it has been fine. Could have just been the one ride where I really noticed it or I simply wasn't paying attention to my technique.
