Got a late start but this trail has shade and quiet creek crossing to beat the heat. I must admit I'm still not used to the bigger wheels but hopefully time in the saddle will allow me to be more comfortable. I took a few rest breaks along the trail and took an extra long one at the waterfall, the wind would kick up and I'd be sprinkled with water mist. Haha the closest I've been to rain in a while :)

Looking forward to the next ride. Thinking of the chilao Loop.

    Best,

Nice ride, but I am getting some serious deja vu looking at the photos!

Kinda amazed how many people were either mountain biking or hiking.

That's an extremely popular spot, especially with the hikers.

I got on the trail around 11:45am so not really early. I stay up late

I think ideal would be by 8am. It was still a great ride.
