    Well, I do not have a Real ID and I have no plans to get one since I do not fly nor do I plan to leave the country.

    So, if I get tried for a crime or if I get a jury duty summons, I cannot enter a courthouse. Now what?!

    I'm going to guess they'll let you in or the pool of eligible participants will shrink considerably.

    In my opinion, if you don't need it, don't get it. I fly a lot now though and have no intention of going to the DMV, Although the service is stellar and the people are so nice. Passport card FTW on domestic travel.
