Pity, maybe if he had at least cracked 10,000ft this movie would garner an opening in more than just one of MBA's Top 10 bucket list locations.... :Roflmao

thats not about elevation gain but the incredibly difficult trail climbing.. That 8700 with all punchy climbs prob feels like 25,000 gain for a day not to mention that average rider won't be able to negotiate most of the stuff he is able to ride up

Yeah I know. Was just pointing out the title referring to elevation is kinda silly when the ride is really about the tech climbing.

That was incredible. It takes a lot for me to give 1:30 of my time to something, and I started it with no intention of finishing it, but it was well worth it.

The crap thing is, each spot you never know how quickly you will clean that section. Some spots were one and done, others he expects to clean on first try took several attempts.

then you start to get frustrated when it’s not coming together…which I think makes it even worse.

    strong mental game.

On the last day (day 3), you do a gentle 17 mile warm up climb in the morning... :laugh:After lunch, they shuttle you to the top of the Whole Enchilada. I bailed out somewhere after The Snotch with the rotator cuff on fire...

    I need a do-over.

Thanks for posting! I watched the whole video Sunday. Amazing how he could make 20, 30, 40 attempts and keep going to achieve his goal.

There was some preliminary talk today of doing a non-Kokopelli IMTB road trip. Seeds being planted and such.

What I really enjoyed was how he made everything look dooooooable! Yes he did some trials moves but not overly so. Great positive don't give up attitude!
