Want to see if anybody would be willing to do a guided ride in the Chilao, Mt Hillyer and Silver Moccasin trails. It has been 12 years since I have ridden there and would love to go out there before the hot weather. I am free to meet anyone's schedule who is willing.

If anybody is willing to guide me and whoever wants to ride Chilao this coming Sunday or anytime after. I am dying to go ride there but don't remember the best way to ride it. It has been 12+ years and I don't want to ride by myself or miss any of the good features.

My death marches usually start from Charlton flats with a visit to Vetter mountain first.

Hey Wonder Woman, Does it have to be on Sunday?

 

No, but on Sat. I have to go to Simi Valley by 1pm. But, can be free on Memorial Day as well. Supposed to do a century road bike ride on Memorial Day but would much rather do this if people want to ride on Memorial Day or early on Sat.

 

Looks cold and rainy on Sunday.

 

I would be up for a Memorial Day Chilao ride if it’s not sub zero with a wind chill of -20 degrees.

 

Or another WW ride???

 

Wrightwood is cool as well.

 

Remember the closure on hwy 2 vincent gap to Rebox.

 

The closure is from the Upper Big Tujunga Rd to Red Box. Vincent Gap is over by Wrightwood

 

Wrightwood on Monday is partly cloudy and 48 degrees.

Yeah but it’s gonna be 59 in Wrightwood tomorrow... And Ojai is showing 69 for Monday... just sayin...

 

Therefore, the best time to ride with with s Lycra wearing buddy, is sub 50 temps.

No mud at all. Could be very soft dirt though. Lotsa rock.
