Want to donate to imtbtrails?
At the bike shop now. @George was asking about the hell ride. We are both in for this route.
@Tom the Bomb
The 8-piece Nuggets are already too big for Dante’s rig and the Bomb Squad Mobile, so we’re looking at other options.
Those that want to bag Sugarloaf Peak are welcomed to charge ahead with Burt and Dante before the first downhill. We will rendezvous here and there throughout the ride and have lunch at Angelus Oaks.
Fight=Ride; Planet=Segment; Rough Necks= Chicken Nuggets (of course)!
And then there were 9:
@Tom the Bomb
here's the thread.. I think I was posting on the wrong thread!
Yea, the thread title doesn't quite convey the scope and purpose...or does it!?!
Nothin gonna make sense at the end of ride...
Damn! I’m scheduled to work that Saturday
Maybe you'll get the flu or measles and have to miss work. Then you'll get to ride!
This year’s roster so far is the same as last year’s roster.
This is the goal:
Anything less is still cool, but not the goal.
Bring a light, or let me know if you need to borrow one.
This is the means:
Shuttle leaves at 6 a.m., (not 7). There are a few folks who have expressed interest and others who have decided against it. So now it’s first come, first served. 7 spots left.
Dooods...I arranged an adventure broker to shuttle us because people’s interest required it. Then a few heads backed off, so now there are enough riders to use Dante’s rig, and I do not need CrazyBear.
@MrGreedom @George @konakc, are you guys still in? If so, please book your seats. If not, no problem, but let me know.
As a courtesy to Xavier, I’d like to get the logistics buttoned up ASAP as far as which shuttle we will use.
After October 5, I’m going to give Xavier the option to publicize the shuttle or cancel it. Also, I’m going to reach out to some local Marshall Canyon rippers to see if they wanna jostle with @burt to the Meadow and summit.
I just booked and paid my 30 bucks!
I'm in either way. But I might pass up on sugar loaf however..
Sweet! At this point, only Burt has conquered the Summit, and I’m game but not sure I’m capable (also depends on snow conditions a month from now). I’m sure you won’t be alone on skipping the summit.
i'll probably bring a book, a blanket and take a nap at the sugarloaf trail..
Well the views don’t suck...
...and you can do some yoga...
Storming the summit will probably take up to 90 minutes round trip. I’m bringing lights.
Sorry about your “scorpion” crash. How’s your neck?
Nice area for sure.
Bettis is the contortionist. I’m just the photographer.
Two spots left on the shuttle. Everyone is welcome to come die on the hill out there, but after two more spots on the shuttle, the logistics are up to you.
Keeping my eye on this but I couldn't commit just yet, depends on other situations. And now another recent injury throws a monkey wrench into my commitmentism. I'm still being optimistic. Trailslayer wants to go regardless. We'll figure it out. But if the spots get taken, no worries.
Well, it didn't look like Sara, not her style, so I just assumed it was a crash. Who would do such a thing on purpose. Body armor threw me off too.
Tell the TrailSlayer he can be my guest of honor.
We can arrange for a door to door TrailSlayer pick-up/drop off if you trust me and my fiends.
This is your escort:
Gangsta! But Vince aint gonna roll with just anybody, he's gonna have to pass initiation. https://www.imtbtrails.com/forum/threads/floop-100.8884/
