Interesting through-frame front shock design. The support brace is in a unique location. I see bottle cage bolts inside the front triangle but where that brace connects to the down tube may limit the size of bottle that can fit in there.

And, the lower linkage attached to the BB is still hanging down and exposed.

It does have nice lines, though.

Appears to be well thought out. Maybe Huffy's takeover will be a good thing after all.

 

The lower linkage isn’t as much of a rock basher as people assume when looking at the bike without someone on it.

I’m not looking for a new bike right now but if I were I’d take this out for a spin, I’d be taking a lot of other bikes out for demos too.

 

Vince already has one at the shop. I'll check it out when we pick up Jenn's Mojo 3 this weekend.

Love my current RIP, climbs well and I can go fast DH on it. Not sure it would be my current bike if my previous version didn’t get warrantied to the 2017 model. Next bike I get won’t be based on any kind of brand loyalty, demos are my only way of knowing what’s right for me.

I don’t care about their name either, they really did do a lot for the 29er movement over the years but in the end I really just don’t give it much thought. I also really don’t care how I look on the trails either, I am sure some of the enduro bros I see at Oaks snicker at my Niner while riding their YT/Evil/what forums say is the coolest bike at the time. I don’t have a bunch of matching clothes for riding, heck my favorite shorts have a broken zipper and I still rock them.

My point? If it puts a smile on my face and does what I need I will ride it.

RIP Linda Goldbloom. I love my cousin. Linda is my cousin’s mother in law that was tragically hit by a foul ball at the Dodgers game in August 2018 .
