    A bunch of them!!!
    I'm signed up. The last time I was there the Rabbit, Fox, and Shady Oaks were very fun single tracks trails.

    Well Sh!t hit the fan so my mountain plan fizzled. Staying local, so now I'm in on this ride!

    Starting from Quail Hill around 830.

    Rode out there and hit most all the good trails.

    Question: Is the Bommer Canyon trail coming off of Shady Canyon Rd not regularly open to bikes? I was wondering how to get from Tustin Metrolink to Crystal Cove, and that looked like the obvious choice. But is it a limited access trail, only open during these events?

    Solid. Rode Cattle Crest, Rabbit Run, and Ridge Route. Conditions were ideal. Crowds minimal. Almost cleaned Rabbit but had to walk that super narrow section in the rocks at the bottom. Rode the rest of the rocks though. Then walked up and did it again. 15ish miles. 2500ish feet.

    @Cyclotourist

    You doing a S24O in El Moro?

    Bommer Canyon is open once a month.

    Bommer Meadow is open all the time. You can take that to West Fork and then up to Laguna Coast Wilderness/El Moro.

    Yes exactly. Camp there twice a year or so, and usually come up from SJC Metrolink up PCH. Was trying to figure out a way to get form Tustin Metrolink to LCWP and drop into the site, rather than climb up to it!!!! Thanks for confirming the Bommer Meadow route!!!

    You'll still be climbing out of Shady/Bommer. But once you're up on Bommer Ridge it's downhill to camp.

    You can also take Quail Trail to Serrano and drop under the toll road.

    But then you have to climb Laurel to get back up to Bommer Ridge and over to El Moro campgrounds. I can't imagine Laurel with the bike loaded.

    Can't be as bad as climbing up from PCH!!! I pulled a muscle in my back the last time... pretty miserable for a few weeks after that :-(

    East fork out of bommer is shorter than from PCH but it is no joke. The last little kicker will be fun with a full loaded bike.

    I am officially warned!!! The roads over from Tustin/Irvine have to be a little bit nicer to ride on than PCH through LB as well!

    Started at Willow and made it into a good ride - I have not been riding too technical recently so Cattle Crest was an attention getter for me. The climb back up to Serrano always sucks ...
