I'll be visiting Mother-in-Law in OC tomorrow, but I'll look yearningly toward the San Gabriel Mountains for an explosion.

Got called into work so I gotta miss this one...

The trail is in excellent condition with some sandy and loose spots. The backside potrero is a little overgrown but the frontside down to Red Box, and the Gabrielino section has been brushed and the major rut has been filled.

Now that's the spirit - post a ride at 11:00 pm for a ride that starts at 8:30 the next morning! That's what the "I'm gonna ride somewhere" thread was created for - spontaneity!

True, this is a late-vite. Only the night owls or early risers who check the site either last thing or first thing could see it in time to respond. I'm a night owl but rarely check the site last thing and I do sleep in most weekends so I didn't know about this ride offer. Went to P-12 with my wife anyway. At least a late-vite is better since people have a small chance to join in. Short notice on a late-vite is better than no vite at all! So thanks for the late-vite! I hope I can make the next one!
