Can any of you ride your bike backwards?

I have a couple of buddies who can sit on their bars and ride backwards!

Both front brakes use just one lever. Can't tell what the orange brake lever does, other than point skyward. The disc in the front is static mounted and maybe they use the calipers and disc to align the front wheels. The black box may be suspension, attached to a suspension fork... Or.... Hmmm

Oooh, wait! I know, it's the Yeti guys-Switch Infinity

Did you notice the cables are Gyro cables? Have you ever used a Gyro cable? They suck, they could have used a lever that does 2 cables. They work much better.

Yeah, but he's got 2 disc brakes up front so they only have to work half as good

Just thought I'd provide a contrast to the service I received from Jenson. I picked up a new XTR drivetrain from Competitive Cyclist around Christmas. Finally did the install on the Ripmo and was having an issue with the front shifter not working properly. The shifter was intermittently not resetting after a shift when shifting down the cassette so I would have to double click it. I called CC yesterday and the customer service guy gave me the e-mail address to submit the warranty claim to. I sent the e-mail explaining the issue yesterday afternoon and today about noon I received an e-mail back that they had a replacement shifter being overnighted to me and they sent me a shipping label to send the defective one back. Fully resolved within 24 hours as opposed to waiting 6 weeks with zero response from Jenson when I tried to submit a claim on a purchase that I made through them. for Competitive Cyclist.

Shimano is usually pretty good with warranties. I am not a Shimano guy but they take care of their customers. Obviously Jenson didn’t care about your problems.

I just walk into Shimano in Irvine. Then they send me a new part the next day. Only had to do that once, but it resulted in a new set of XT brakes and XT pedals. Just like Crank Bros, except with CB, it's a twice-yearly event - as opposed to once in 20 years.
