Beer ...I Drank Some.

Man, there was this pizza buffet we would frequent in the Tongzhou district of Beijing. All you could eat for about 45 rmb, like... $7. But, they had a tap for Beijing Beer (division of asahi). Unlimited refills, self serve. We drained it a few times....

Well I was drinking blue moons till I done ran dry.

 

I just had me a couple of Figueroa Mountain Hoppy Poppy IPA's. Found them at Costco a couple of weeks ago. Me likey.

 

RR won't be on the shelves at whole foods round here. They keep em in the back. You gotta ask at the cheese counter.

Trader Joe's has their own branded unibrou selection. We tried the golden ale last night. Both my wife and I fans.

That stuff is AMAZING! One of my all-time faves. And, brewed in Canadia, eh?

 

earlier in the thread was talk of Russian River Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig being avail at Whole Foods...

IMO not worth the hassle, not even Pliny the Younger...

 

Saw this at the store, have been impressed with Lagunitas' offerings, gave it a try.

Unique taste, interesting and unexpected. Not completely sold, not completely averse to another someday.

 

Drinking a Stout w/ cacao nibs coffee added and aged in Whiskey barrels. One of my favorite Stouts for drinking in fall and winter weather!

 

Working my way through the new Belgium winter variety pack. Really liked the 1554 black ale.

I'm wanting to try this someday soon. Haven't come across it yet though.

Ah man, you shoulda drove out here and pedaled up to the snow with me. It was AWESOME! And, no rain at all here today.

 

Dang it I thought about that too but... no excuses other than the wife wanted her decorations out of the rafters I had beer in the fridge.

 

I get you. Wife first, everything else second. I will post up a report in a lil while.

 

I'll be having some o' this with the Christmas pork leg.

 

I grabbed one of those packs last year, and enjoyed it a lot! The 1554 was delicious!
