Anytime

Ooooh this looks like it could be great. I was a fan of the pre-Anthill films by the Collective - especially Seasons back in 2009. I must've watched that 1000 times. I hope this is equally compelling.

Enjoyed watching this on the big screen. Too much jumping and not enough Mtbiking for my taste, but a fun watch it is.
Ahhh, well that's a shame. I too don't need to see a lot of slopestyle. It's impressive and all, but irrelevant to my riding and does nothing to get me stoked to ride. I loved Seasons for the Stevie Smith segment on Vancouver Island, the Matt Hunter and Thomas Vanderham segments in interior BC, Steve Peat at Mt. St. Anne, Shandro on the North Shore, the Mt. 7 Psychosis and of course all the lads at Whistler to close the movie. There were a few slopestyle segments, but they were interesting from the perspectives of Cam McCaul and Darren Barrecloth. Oh, and the soundtrack was epic. Two Shoes by Cat Empire - 'nuf said!

Herz turned me onto Seasons and he is correct, it is a good flic. I recall in Big Bear that it was on loop at the cabin when we stayed there to ride for a weekend.

And some of the music from Seasons occasionally pops up in my rotation. Well, that's because my Beemer has a iPod nano ( a big 8gb one too) connected to it for something like 10 years now. Plugged it in then, and haven't touched it since, Like time travel everytime I use it.

I'm checking out Anytime right now and it does feel a bit like Seasons so far. There were even some clips from Seasons in the intro.

The cinematography is next level. Maybe not as much story line. I just finished watching the Thomas Genon segment in Mexico. Holy shpit!

So I finished it. I stand by my Seasons comparison - even a song from Cat Empire again (and it was spectacular - again). And I also support @Danimal's assessment that there is a ton of jumps and "slopestyle" riding which frankly, I just skipped. But there's also a ton of big mountain "ski" type mt. biking which is equally frightening in a different way.

What was missing for me was North Shore (Squamish) style riding and just great trail riding on chunky, flowy or just plain challenging trails. I guess mt. biking must now include huge jumps to be of interest.

Kudos for including the girls in this film. And not just a token segment - but featured in three major segments.
