Another Holy Jim Fire

I am simply at a loss for words

Can you think of another business where the manager can create a situation that causes all of the customers to be locked out for years? And there are no consequences?

I'll hazard a guess at what that post is maybe trying to convey.....

They've closed all of Holy Jim trail again when the fire burned the trail above the falls. There appears to be no reason to close the trail below the falls as it was unaffected by the fire and had been reopened to the public prior to this latest fire.

Given that Holy Jim has been closed above the falls the entire time since the previous fire even though it was completely untouched by that one I can't say I find this latest decision at all surprising. It completely tracks with what we are dealing with.... a weapons grade bellend called Ranger Vance.

Well... In his defense, it's a lot easier to manage now. With no vegetation and no visitors, even Darrell Vance can handle it... The bean counters probably figured it's cheaper to keep the moron in place than find a new one.

Sucks! Side note (and sassy take), regarding the end of the second paragraph. According to the end of the second paragraph, if you hop/bypass the closed gate, they won't know you are up there and can't help if you get a bee sting. But if the gate is open, and they don't see you go in, they'll know you are up there and can attend to you if you get a bee sting? P

I have to sincerely thank the Hooligan membership of imtbtrails for completely clearing this up for me. The struggle was real, however, thanks to the sharp minds, the mtb lawyer-istic approach, I can now rest easy knowing the leadership over the Greater Holy Jim Area is simply just fawked up. Does that about sum it up?
