    Welp. One moment you’re having a reasonably good day, then next you’re figuring out how to self rescue.

    found a rut on cactus canyon at Oaks. First OTB in probably 5 years. The left clavicle now matches the right.

    sitting in St Joe’s waiting for the norco to do something.

    Dabbed all the switchbacks on the way down chutes.

    It sounds like herz had it worse, so there is that...

    That’s pretty much all I have for now. Got in and out of the ER with a basic sling and the tiniest Norco prescription available...the ER seemed preoccupied, even though there was only one other person there that I could see...(actually very reassuring, I have zero desire to catch covfefe as part of the deal)

    not sure how I’m gonna sleep yet, the most comfortable position for my arm is holding a handlebar. I’ll see what the orthopedist says, hopefully I can get in tomorrow.

    I wish I had gotten the surgery on my right back in 2006 and I’m certainly going to be encouraging the doc to be open to it here. I was a little leery of going under the knife back then, but after two Achilles procedures and an appendectomy I’ve gotten over it.

    It sounds like you only have a couple day’s head start on me...may you find comfort and rest as well...
