I got my hands on an Alchemy Arktos today. Very similar to a Yeti SB66. Handmade carbon bike, manufactured in the US - not overseas. Bike prices are competitive. They will be fielding a team for the Enduro World Series this year, including Cody Kelly from Yeti and Anneke Beerten, most recently from GT I think (and often seen 'round these parts).

BikeCo has a fleet for demo. Call ahead.

Oh, and this may explain why it looks like a Yeti Switch. Their suspension design was licensed from David Earle.

Funny, I saw a guy riding a brand new one of these up Willow this morning. I made a comment that the bike was way too clean and he said that it was out for it’s maiden voyage. I wasn’t familiar with them and did a Google search when I came home.

    Where's her face? She's a cutie, IMO.

Sorry, that's inappropriate. She's a hell of a rider with a great personality and pleasing appearance.

    Cool fork, BTW.

Agree. Love to see more domestic carbon, frame and component production.

I wonder if they ride with the GG guys...

I can picture the GG, Yeti and Alchemy guys (and gals) all riding together at lunch. They probably all ride Never Summer snowboards too. I think all of those HQs are off I-70 between I-25 and Morrison Rd.

I don't know why she didn't include her face, but that is a pic she posted on her FB. I ran into her once on San Juan Trail ... she was like a rocket ship both up and down.

That stem looks longer than 50mm. I thought over 50 was unrideable? Are we seeing a shift in stem length trends again?
