I have the rest of the day available to ride. It’s dry here at my place in Cypress.

Can anyone confirm STT/Luge is rideable right now? I’d be down for a loop or two if so.

If not there, anywhere else? Within a 30-45 minutes of Cypress?

    Hola!!!!!

We had a squall go through about an hour ago, but it's partly cloudy now. STT is open and will probably be slippery/sticky in a few spots (it'll stop your bike if you're not careful), but mostly rideable. There's a breeze and it dries pretty quick.

Luge was fine yesterday and I assume its OK today. I encourage riding it soon after storms, if you don't mind getting muddy. You can't really hurt it, and might do it some good.

FYI, there's some unconsolidated dirt in a few spots--especially around and after the 2nd drop in that straightaway with 3 drops--so watch out for that. Otherwise good.

I'm thinking of heading over to the bottom of it in about an hour, so I might see you if you decide to ride it.

I don't see any mention of trail closures in Aliso. I am headed there now to do some digging.

And just like that... my window has closed. The boss is going grocery shopping while I watch the animal children.
I intend to hit the Luge tomorrow am. Pedal from cooks around 730 ish. Hopefully I can manage more than one loop.

Where does time go? I saw the title and thought cool an upcoming ride! Then of course I realized that was today's date. We didn't get a lot of rain here so I'm hoping what we did get will make for perfect conditions tomorrow.

I think SGRT is rideable...but it may be closed due to high water.

A few mud puddles on the fire roads. Lynx is much better now than it was 5 hours ago. I think everything should be good unless it pisses rain tonight. All the rocky trails should be fine. Meadows might be a little sticky -it's the only trail in Aliso that gets unrideable when supersaturated.

Sticky when wetter! I've had to carry my 70lb mud-covered steed back up the hill attempting Meadows in the mud once. I think I got past the first left turn and slid to a slimy halt and said "nope." After cleaning the bike with a stick, and riding all the way back to Alta Laguna, my friend and I hit Car Wreck. If I recall, I wasn't on my game on that run either. The day was a wash!

    I know "Cool story, bro!"

Meadows should probably have a warning sign because it gets opened before drying out. Tough for hikers, too. Once you drop in, it can be hard to get back out.. even on foot.

Sycamore is a sponge, it dries pretty much the instant the rain stops.

Why? Must be an eBike at 70 pounds...

Yup. we toured Aliso and LCWP. No problems. A couple of puddles.

I would not venture down to the access road below Rattlesnake in El Moro. That's notorious for sticky mud for days after a rain.
