@Mikie 's guy is still hanging on out front but Bernal is chipping away. Even Quintana got a stage win.
I agree with LeMond that this is one of the best Tours in years.

 

It was awesome watching JA descend the last DH yesterday catching back up to the pack.

 

I like how JA is riding. He knows this is his moment, and he is willing to risk it all to try and keep that yellow jersey. Team Ineos is only a minute and a half back...

 

All I’m gonna say right now is this has been an awesome tour so far. Thrilled for my guy. Just had a feeling this was the year based on his performance last year. No matter the outcome this has been great racing!

Watching that front-loader clear the ice and debris flow on the road was pretty crazy. I wonder if it was just that one spot that flooded, or if there were multiple problems?

All kinds of suck in yesterday's stage.....

shortened/cancelled stage, JA losing the Yellow and not getting to see him chase Bernal down to the finish, and Pinot withdrawing with an odd injury.

 

I didn't see it as suckage. Just those cruel twists of fate that every rider has to endure.

 

NBCSN isn't re-broadcasting Stage 20 today... probably the most important stage after yesterday's shake up!
I missed the live broadcast this morning, and only NASCAR and Lacrosse for the rest of the day... :-(

 

I noticed that....and the DVR didn't record it.

 

Mid-week they show it three times, not sure why they can't show it more than once on the weekend... :-/

 

I just finished stage 19...what a croc pot of Sh!t! The most worthwhile and technically challenging portion of the race gets yanked for safety..? Piss poor representation of roadie athletes by the governing body. Scrub some speed and race the damn course! Or at least at least at least cut the race off at the bottom of the descent. Bitch-ass climbing proponents, continuing to aggrandize the UPs when the DH is where talent, fitness, and sack matter. I motion for a purple jersey for the DH rippers!
