Well per the @mtnbikej rules, it is the next day.

I “was” going to say that my man Sagan will go for his 7th Green Jersey (and he did)
other than the two cobblestone climbs, one of which was a flipping 30% grade!
It was doable as a Sprinter’s course. I was going to predict Sagan would take the day one stage. But I kept my mouth shut, should have known better. Missed it by that much!

 

Yeah, it always seems as though someone quietly sneaks up on the outside....doesn't get much closer than that.

 

I have a feeling this is going to be a very quiet Thread...

 

I would love to talk about the Tour but, I'm not waiting a day to message about it.

I totally agree! My favorite guy from last year knocked out of the park. His facial expressions in the moments of agony are priceless!
It was well deserved!

I'm tired of these machine-like teams without any soul. The Tour is the best when it's unpredictable and dangerous.
Today's stage was like that. A bold move like only Pantani used to pull off - except he did it in the Alps.

 

To be honest Sky made me nauseous. It's why I like Sagan so much. He shoots off the hip, total character, and does wheelies on his road bike, oh, and a total badass sprinter.

Julian Alaphilippe the Polka Dot King from last year is a hardcore climbing machine. If it is a mountain stage, my money will be on him.

 

Okay, I'm in love with Sagan, ha hah! I'm recollecting last year. I forgot he crashed, bad. The Mother Trucker fought through the pain and did Sh!t.

I just wish he would talk in a deeper voice... Sounds like a lollipop kid.

 

When they got to the finish line, one went over the line for acceptable human behavior, the other just snorted it.

 

You can't race with yellow tires! Sheesh! Everyone knows that!

 

No Cavendish this year, Sagan is going to be fighting it out with a bunch of new youngsters....it'll be interesting.

 

They are roadies....they have no soul. Gone are the days of riders being characters.....Sagan being the exception.

 

Stage 3 winner found another gear and just went.....impressive.
