I typically wouldn’t be interested in a 4 year old full suspension bike. However, the owner claims its mint with less than 50 miles on it. Asking $3.3K The specs are posted below....

    2016 Giant Reign Adv 0 - M

Advanced-grade composite w/ ALUXX SL rear triangle, 6.3" Maestro suspension
Fork - RockShox Pike RCT3 Dual Position Air 130mm-160mm
Rear Shock - RockShox Monarch Plus DebonAir RC
Seat - RockShox Reverb Stealth, Dropper Seat
    SRAM XX1 Trigger
    SRAM XX1, Type 2
    Brkaes - SRAM Guide Ultimate, Hydraulic disc, [F] 200mm [R] 180mm
Rims - DT Swiss XM 1501 Spline
    Shimano Saints Pedals

Carbon Frame, carbon handlebar, Carbon Chainstay

Bike is in Like-new/Excellent condition with less than 50 Miles.

    27.5 / 650B - Size Medium

That is not a smokin' deal.

By comparison, I just sold a 2016 Intense Tracer 275c with top of the line 2018 Fox Factory 36 fork, nearly new DVO Topaz shock, Shimano XT brakes, Shimano XT drivetrain, New 2019 Stans Flow Mk III wheels, new Maxxis Minions, a Syntace carbon bar, syntace stem, KS LEV seatpost etc etc for $1900.00 cash.

You should be able to get that for $2500-$2750.

    EDIT:
Hmmm, just read the < 50 miles part. Still in range though.

I suspected it was a bit high. Still, nice ride.

Offer what you are willing to pay. Is it local?

Great bike in great condition but I wouldn’t pay that for it. People are on something when they post used bikes for sale I swear.

Even better. Try it for size. Check to make sure the < 50 miles is legit. Look at the cassette and chainring. Get a sense for the owner (that makes a difference to me). Cash is a little risky at that level, but that's all I've ever done - but I've never sold a bike for more than $2k. OTOH - you may already know all of this and have more expertise.

BTW - 27.5 are more fun than 29, in my humble opinion.

Regardless of the shape the bike is still 4 years old. That being said it looks like it has a lot of nice parts on it. Still not sure if I'd pay that much for a 4 year old bike.

Outdated design from age probably can't be fixed. Fifty miles, eh? Cuz it says on the odo? It's too much bike, unless you are some closet park rat effing with us.

Seat angle is the only measurement that is "outdated" and only slightly at a real 73° (which looks steeper in the photo than half of the claimed 75 and 76 angles out there). Long reach, 65° HT angle, 17" chainstays. Seems reasonable to me. Too much bike? That's more a matter of taste than need.

Of all the hobbies I’ve had over the years I’ve gotta say that mountain bikes loose value faster than anything I’ve dabbled in. I’m gonna agree with everyone else and say it’s priced a bit high even though it appears to be a beauty. That said I’d bet that thing is a magic carpet ride and probably way more bike than most people need.

Sweet looking bike! Appropriately priced according to BBB. Still only worth as much as someone is willing to pay IMO.

$2400 tops, Even though it has great parts it’s still 4 going on 5 years old.

Is bbb the reason people try to sell their used bikes for barely less what they payed when new? I’ve been trying to figure out some of the bike prices for used bikes (even before COVID meant low inventory on new bikes and the attendant hike in used bike prices).

@45acpguy I paid $600 less for a same year SC Hightower that was dialed in like new condition w/ an extra wheelset. Take your time, deals are definitely out there. It took me a good month to find mine.

Is it the right bike for you?
What kind of riding are you planning to do with it?
If it isn't that I wouldn't buy it no meter how good the deal is.
27.5 is not dead, but "everyone" is riding 29" bikes. IMO it will be harder to sell it (if you take that into consideration when buying a bike).

How tall are you? Because those frames run kinda small....I'm 5'9 and I had to put the seat all the way back passing the mark and had to change the headset for a longer one...and even with those changes always felt my reing kinda short...

I believe they changed the geometry between this one and your Reign - I could be wrong.

Funny, from the first post, I thought of you and your green and yellow monster - with impeccably matched kit, of course.

we miss you @jaime - hope you are well!

4 yrs = 1460 days + 1 leap year day minimum / 50 miles = .03 miles /day (158 feet), 1/4 mile per week (660 feet per week one way) To be truthful @ 50 miles all the little sprue's will still be on the tires, but a little brittle. A lot of dust would be on those surfaces you cannot clean unless it is pressure washed, and who in their right mind would pressure wash a full suspension rig, especially top of the line. The brake pads would show no wear, the chain would be exactly 12", the cables a little loose due to new aircraft cable stretch. The RD teeth would look new. The climbers would show no lube on the grooves. The seat would not even begin to shine. The grips would look new and be not so soft.
So here is your inspection list, go for it.
By the way: most people will put on 50+ miles the first week due to the new car smell.
Danger; who gets a high end bike and only rides it down the driveway and 1/2 way around the yard unless the geometry sucks or the wife took it in the divorce.
Happy trails on the 27.5 wheel full suspension cloud.
