Fully upgraded and in fantastic mechanical condition. I just replaced the chain ring, chain, rebuilt the rear shock and front fork and did a full pivot service. Let's put it this way, I'm the kind of bike mechanic that lines the tire logo's up with the wheel logo's. This is a trail bike on steroids and is perfect for the full range of SoCal trails. This is a perfect do everything bike to add to the stable or if you know some one getting started, this is a safe first solid FS bike.

I really want to see this go to a good home.

Post updated... I posted the CL price on here last night instead IMTB price. I'd definitely like to leave this bike in good hands so if you have an offer let me know.

I would also be interested in certain trades with cash on top; Quality Boost 29r Wheels (ID > 29) and a few other items.

Indeed. I'm pretty happy. It ended up going to a really good home. Regarding selling, I'm a firm believer that the quality of the photo's helps. If anyone is selling a bike and needs good photo's taken, I do take pictures for beer! LoL

So, now you have four months to decide what bike's next. At least it's something to keep you occupied during rehab. Any bikes in the running yet?

Man... holy crap is it a tough choice. Currently thinking Hightower, Switchblade or something of that ilk. The new mach 5.5 looks tempting but it's basically a badass version of my trance with better suspension (not a bad thing). I'm kinda set on one of more aggro 29rs but who knows. I'm definitely all for suggestions. I'm trying to keep the budget around 5-6k.

Congrats on the sale. I love my 2016 Trance 3. If you have any old take-off parts laying around without a bike to go on let me know. May be an upgrade for my ride.

Congrats on the quick sale. How much did you get for it, if you don't mind me asking?

I love it when I know where the bike goes and how it will be appreciated by the new owner. I usually don't try getting top dollar - I just want to sell to someone I meet face to face, who will give me cash and save me the hassle of boxing, shipping and figure out the timing and method of payment.

As for the photos, yours are very nice, but I've sold my last two bikes on Pinkbike with basic left profile, right profile, oblique photos - poorly composed. Both were Knolly 26ers, and both sold within about a month of posting for a fair price to a local rider. Not trying to yank that beer out of your hand. I do believe that if you want top dollar, good photos and a very, very clean bike will help.

Coming off your Trance, an aggro 29er is probably the way to go, if you want different and faster.

I got just below my asking price on here. 2k. It actually ended up selling to some one whom is an estimator for a subcontractor I've used on a few of my projects. I'm sure I could have held off and gotten 200 bucks more, but it was a price we were both happy with and he's super stoked on the bike. He's been riding with his work buddies on their spare bikes... Imagine getting a bike like this as your first full suspension bike lol. It's definitely got plenty of room for him to grow into it.

I demo'd a hightower before my surgery and I felt right at home on it. It was way more playful then I thought it was going to be. I kept my 200x57 monarch+ debonair rt3 that I used to have on this bike. If I end up with a hightower I'll have a viable long shock option right off the bat. Pretty tempting to send the oem shock off to craig @ avalanche for an XC tune and keeping the monarch for park days.

Time to dive into some spreadsheets and get to the planning phase.

My buddy has a HT frame & fork for sale if you're interested. You've ridden with him before, but I am not sure if he was on the Hightower or not.

Andy's siracha red setup? Do you happen to know what size it is? I should probably talk to him and see if we can make something work.

Andy's on the Speshy, it's the other Paul on the Siracha red HT. It's a size large. I just stripped it for him and built up a Ripley. Let me know if you want his contact info.

The new Hightower coming out will already be long shocked. From what I hear, 150mm.
