$2800 or trade for something equally cool…

First off if it’s not ok to post up non bicycle stuff please delete and kick me in the nutz next ride @Mikie

Up for sale is a primo 2014 Honda Grom. This thing is 125cc and 9+ horsepower of air cooled hell on wheels. Absolutely primo condition with 1800 miles on the clock. Fuel injected Honda reliability that rivals a fine Swiss watch.

Purchased brand new when I was a lazy couch potato and about the same time I bought my first worthwhile MTB. Bikes with pedals have seen way more use so I guess it’s time to let it go. I’ve owned lots of motorcycles but I gotta say it’s stupid fun to try & go fast on a slow bike. This thing gets about 97 mpg running WFO and 99 when you baby it. Cruises at 50-55 mph but I’ve hit 64 in a full tuck with a tailwind.

All stock except for a few things. Has Yoshimura cat-bak exhaust and fender eliminator. Also has a Scotts steering damper(i know a guy) with “sub” mount and Renthal Fat bars. Also have a Yoshimura graphics kit new in bag but I thought it looked good without it. All stock take-offs included.

Great bike if you don’t need to hit the highways. Needs nothing and registered till Feb 2019. Just don’t use it enough. This isn’t about money so I’d also be open to trades.

Sorry, no nut kicking here. That thing is pretty cool.
My brother used have a Honda QA50. Kinda a Honda Mini bike and we all had more stupid fun on that thing then we had on our Moto’s.

I had a '75 Honda Z50 and my neighbor had the QA. We ran those things into the ground. That Grom looks like a blast. Good luck with the sale Tom.c854f190120da1284ab74ee3474b1c3d.jpg

Yep you guys are on the same page as this is that kind of "stupid" fun bike. Prior to my XR75 days I had a trail 70 that was stuck in 2nd gear for about 5 years. Ran it wide open the whole time and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't kill it. This is a new school version "stupid" fun bike. If I had a buddy with a similar bike that I could dice with I'd surely keep it.

Mini bikes are the best. Go ride Adams or Apex kart tracks. It is a blast. I will be picking up a grom or something similar when my boy is 15.

    Good luck on the sale.

Yep street legal and very useful for the right person. The local sheriffs have all been cool with it and seem amused.

Rad bikes. If I needed a commuter I would be all over this.

Before one of my X pro road racing friends turned me on to mountain bike racing (with the 12 Hours of Temecula), I used to race minis.

24 Hours of Grange a couple of years ago with UMRA, on a Grom:

My first bike was a Honda Z50. My brother and I loved that thing.

Did you get any bites on the Grom Sale? My brother mentioned that he might be interested in a go kart bike.

Still got it. Not desperate to sell so this is the only place I listed it for now. Got a pretty good track record going with selling stuff here and having happy buyers so I figure why mess with a good thing...

Cool. I will tell him that it is still available. He rides and R6 and wants to have a cheap bike to work on, so he can learn some motorcycle maintenance without messing up his R6. It is cool that the grom is FI.
