I consider his transaction a contribution. Some of us spew much nonsense here, so a post about a mountain bike offered for sale at a reasonable price is ok with me.

I am....on a zoom call about Assembly Bill 168. I was an expert yesterday, and today I am unlearning much of what I knew. I'll be back to intellectual homeostasis after the appellate courts establish a precedent.

I already blew it. I meant Assembly Bill 168, not Senate Bill 168, which requires lead agencies considering ministerial approval of housing development pursuant to Senate Bill 35 to consult with California Native American tribes. The Tribes pushed back against the State and were able to implement an exception to the exemption from regulation provided under SB 35.

    Hence my point @mtnbikej ...

I suppose it would have been better if one of us bought it, but at least he gave us a chance.

Perhaps the seller was planning to no longer ride? What better place to off your goods in this case, than a mtn bike website. Yes, he used us but worse things have happened.

To be honest, I actually don't mind folks jumping on to offer bikes and bike parts for sale. I don't see it as a trend that would abuse the Site. I see it more as an attraction of opportunities that may not have come our way before. As a Forum owner I also find it a compliment that our Site was noted as a place of mountain bikers they would take the time to build a membership to offer such goods. Even if just temporary.

Sounds like upside, but no downside. What I don't care for are individuals that never contribute, but grab any freebie or extremely low priced item.
