I'm going to try and ride later this afternoon after it warms up. Trying to get my kitchen ready to be demoed tomorrow. Time to break out the cooled weather gear.

Change of plans. . Heading up Hurl Earl our backyard ANF at noon. .guaranteed you will be warm on the climb 3500 elevation gain in 7 miles

 

Rode this morning at 7:30! It was 32 degrees!

Jennifer and I are planning on riding Cheeseboro on Wednesday. It will be much warmer here with a high forecasted of 48!

 

63 in Laguna right now... Just sayin'

 

It was in the 60s going up Backstar this morning... Maybe upper 40s at Sierra Peak. Thankfully that frigid weather didn't last long. ;-)

So H^B, when is the AT snow ride? Looks like the snow will be stop falling in the wee hours of Wed. morning. Looks like it will stay cold all day Wed. too. Wed. would be the best day just in case it warmed up too much and turned the trail into a muddy mess or a refrozen ice rink! Thursday would still be good if it stays cold and the snow doesn't melt. So pick a day so we can set the DVR's for the right football games unless you were just teasing all us snow-ride freaks :crazy: ! Surely I'm not the only one!

You sound hesitant. What happened to "I'd ride AT in the snow"? :eh: Once you're cold you won't even notice it! Besides, you probably won't use any of your extremities that night anyway :lol: !

Yeah, the weather is the big unknown! Snow depth is key too. If the forecast is accurate :? it may get a bit too deep up past the switchbacks but then again, there could be just a dusting! We'll see how it looks on Wed. and take it from there.

I'm sure there are more people who enjoy a good snow ride out there Mikie! They're just afraid to confess and be who they are ! Come on all you frozen (not the movie) freaks! Let's show the great diversity here at imtbtrails! :thumbup:
