Decades ago a friend and I hiked to the top and skied Cornice Bowl one summer night under a full moon. Made it all the way back down to the base of Stump Alley on slivers of snow.

We did it ! We showed 27 yr old Burt! What two 64 yrs youngters have done once a yr for 30 yrs bagging the peak of mammoth . Way to go Burt! ,we saw no one else on the mountain today. . . .Thank you! Hugs

Well as we said goodbye to mammoth. We went straight to Lower Rock creek Trail of course . And once again tryed to wear out BURT. So No shuttle, we started at the bottom rode all the way to the top of rock creek Trail turned right around and went back down that awesome sweet . 16 miles and Burt was ready for more. . Thank you! Watch out for Burt. . Thank you again for reading my ride report. .4 days of over 100 dirt miles. . Mcg & me no more, hugs Burt won! Me done back home to Smokey Bear

 

and I'm sure Burt cleaned all the obstacles on Lower Rock Creek too!
