I'm hopeful...but not sure yet. Some things have to shake out for me to make this. If I can make it I will; if I'm not there at the appointed hour don't wait.

Supposed to be a Sunday morning low of 44, high of 62, with north winds 15 to 20 mph.

The winds will suck. Period. But the rest of it is great.

 

It was windy last time, and it didn't seem to be a problem. You are in the trees enough, you don't notice it.

Really only on the initial 5 mile climb, and a little bit coming back up near the top of WOD.

 

Does anybody have the stats on this "extended GE"?

I would like to know which one we are doing.....gonna dictate which ride I do tomorrow. I was planning for 65/11k' tomorrow, but not if we are doing 6700' on Sunday.

 

I'm working on joining in on this ride. Not gonna take my Enduro if you guys are talking extended stuff. Just gotta re-tape the rear wheel on my Epic to get rid of a slow leak that the Stans won't seal. I suspect that I accidentally folded the rim tape during the last tire change.

 

I only mentioned the 42/6700 because that's what Berni did solo the day I was out there with Mikie.

I'm game for anything. I won't be riding tomorrow, as I'll be sitting in the bleachers for a double header all day.

 

So we are just gonna do to Sawmill then.....33 miler.

 

Maybe we can talk them into more once we're out there... for Kokopelli training.

Yes, that was at Ross. Thanks anyway Mikie, my butt is fine and no I'm not up for 45 miles. But I have my gear ready, so unless I actually forget the car I should be okay for my next ride.

Bad/folded tape vs GOOD tape. Actually the blue tape was about two years old. Held up pretty good. Yellow tape is Stan's brand tape.

 

Uhhhhh. Thanks... Luis? Because it's a requirement to have good tape wrap on your rims for Golden Eagle?

Good rim tape might not be a requirement but this home made salsa for the after party is. You guys better man up and eat it I spent over an hour in the kitchen makin it.
