Who's Riding Where???

They (GGR) tend to ride alone. I believe they do have one or two trail males with them on occasion, though.

 

I saw one member giving trail riding lessons to a newbie gal at Cherry Canyon recently.

 

They are bringing thier guys with them so they can ride with the guys up here.

 

That makes sense.

After 5 straight days of riding in Moab, we’ve moved on to Fruita/Grand Junction. First up on the agenda is Kokopelli.

 

Awesome last day of cool weather.
Feed the animals at the ranch, water my garden all while having my cup-o-coffee, and being watched from above. . . .
Will be hitting my local trail today and Hensley lake Saturday for some trail recon.

Next week will be warmer, so I'm going to higher elevation to check out some trails.

Sycamore Canyon. It's been a minute.

 

Thursday I will be on a recon. mission at Bass Lake on Goat Mountain. 2 loops the 1st the Goat trail the 2nd part of Goat then Spring cove. This will give 2 of the best downhill trails on the South side of the lake.
The North side of the lake has 007, Mary Jane, Willow Creek, etc..

 

Thinking about hitting Aliso this morning (5/24). Any intel on how Lynx and Rock-it are after precipitation? Seems like it rained a little last night and with the cloud cover everything is wet this morning.

This Tuesday more trail recon. Central Camp road to the 3rd section of 007.
The Singlespeed is ready to roll.
Weather should be interesting.

 

Central Camp road up ~8 miles to the 2nd section, down to the first section, and then down to the begining of 007, at Bass Lake.

 

Big Laguna techy loop Fri morn 9:30 am.

 

Noble canyon This Monday. About 26 mi. At the bottom at 9:30. E or Mtb. bring what ya got. It will be a chill pace a couple of guys have never been.

 

Limestone Canyon open access day tomorrow. The last one was cancelled due to rain, so it has been awhile considering that they only open once every two months.
They are usually really good about cleaning up the trails, so the dirt should be prime.

 

Camping and riding there Monday with some OC parks peeps. Very not E-bike-friendly crowd though...

We’re leaving Costa Mesa at 4 AM, so I assume we’ll be pedaling by 7-ish?
