Anyone got some supplier recommendations for wheel building parts? Looking for places that actually have stock of DT Swiss Competition spokes (black) and 14mm nipples (black brass)

    Thanks!

If you haven't yet, try Universal, they're considered the go-to: https://www.universalcycles.com/

I generally go with Colorado Cyclist when it comes to spokes/nipples.....as you can order just what you need. Some places only sell by the box.

Colorado Cyclist show the only stock of spokes they currently have to be titanium ones. Bit over the top for what I need :D

Thanks for the link Dan! I decided to go with these guys, but changed to Sapim race and 14mm nipples. I've always used DT but a bunch of people smarter than me say there is no difference so I may as well give them a try. Hopefully their version of "in stock" isn't a 6 week wait like the "in stock" hubs I ordered direct from a certain CA manufacturer ended up being

    Why 14mm nipples? Just curious.

12mm are generally easier to locate.
