    I would tend to agree with you......IF:

    You are trying to buy a Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota right now. Or if you are trying to by any Hybrid or EV. Yes, these all have excessive mark ups if you can even find one. Good luck getting MSRP and any kind of decent financing.

    Lots of other manufacturers selling more legitimate.

    Cheap financing is available.

    But if you want something that is really popular right now.....bend over and grab your ankles.

    This makes me very sad. I haven't had a clutch since 1998, so I am part of the problem. But man, there is nothing better than the "intimacy" of driving a true manual transmission. I went to automatic initially because of So Cal traffic. My left knee did not enjoy the exercise. But I truly miss the experience.

    I am really looking forward to teaching a generation of drivers the third pedal (two teenage boys and an early 20's girl), as well as refresh my GF's memory.

    Estimated delivery date of July 5th!

    I saw a Polestar in the wild over the weekend. Basically an electric sedan that looks like, well, a sedan.

    Well I haven't been riding so I can't post about that...

    Right at 1,000 miles on the Crosstrek now and I'm thinking it's a keeper. Not super fun to drive but it's doing exactly what I bought it for. Parts I'm delivering and fetching fit just fine. First tank went 532 miles and could have gone farther(14.4 gallons to fill up so 37mpg). It rides pretty good and is quiet and comfortable which I didn't expect for a small cheepie(ish) car. Stereo kicks ass compared to what I'm used to:Roflmao. Haven't popped the hood yet and don't plan on doing so.:eek:

    It's not gutless is it? I think you get 40HP more with the 2.5L.

    I think it’s 30 more hp than the base 2.0 liter. It’s not gutless but it’s no duramax diesel either.:Roflmao

    It should beat your diesel in a short race but it certainly doesn't have much torque.

    Have neither of you heard the term "pancake motor"? Flat 4 is what Subaru uses. These are affectionately known as "pancake" motors. So, slather on some butter, pour on a little syrup, and you're ready to go.

    No derailment here! :mad::D

    Nice! When did you order? I’d love to be able to look at the MRP to see what the long lead component is.
