You betcha....we'll be in the vicinity of that lake when we head out the Gold Valley Rim Trail first thing Sunday morning on ride #1 for the day.

 

I'll be exploring Prescott this weekend.

 

Would like to do B bear saturday, skyline if anyone is interested.

30+/5500 loop tomorrow in the San Gabes if anyone is interested and available...

Unless I get the overwhelming urge to drop down the front range, the plan is to climb Lower Sam Merrill to the Mount Lowe Road all the way to Eaton Saddle. Then down the pavement to Red Box (water available) and onto the Gabrielino for the 14 mile DH (only 600 feet of gain) all the way to JPL.

When I rode the Gabrielino a few weeks ago, it was in incredible shape. Thank you, MWBA. There were no trees down, large sections had been brushed way back, and there was tread work done on some of the really skinny parts.

 

I really need to get my butt up that way. Enjoy the ride.

 

this weekend is the Grizzly 100 Gran Fondo event. It runs through Skyline and the entire area. FYI it’ll be packed with racers.

Dang it, wish I saw this yesterday. Would like to do this loop sometime.

 

This loop is like the Cheese for me! I can do it anytime... Pick a cool day and let me know. If it's a weekend, there are optional chili dogs at the cafe.

 

Rumor has it that there is an adventure brewing for tomorrow night into Saturday morning... Midnight departure. Two intrepid souls are in already. Lots of up and lots of down.

Weekend plan looks like a drive up to lap Trail #1 with the weez. We love that trail. Then send her home with the truck. I'll ride Rim Trail west and drop Big Chief. If I'm not on lighy duty I'll add Deer Creek. I did those three from home skipping some TRT some weeks back– it was big effort for me. Lights on board sounds right...

 

I’ll take ya up on that sometime. I’m due for some San Gabs riding.

OK... it's confirmed 10:00 Super Chicken, starting at Middle Control Rd. Possible bonus out and back to Glass Rd, but probably unlikely (Choose your own adventure). Little bit of precipitation yesterday should be some hero dirt!

 

Not really a local. This was about 80 miles from my house but I have been up there a few times.
