After much nonsense on Pinkbike, I was thinking...

If any of the NICA chapters have a 6’2” Enduro ripper in need of a sled, or if you’ve got a bike-adjacent 501c3 and have a good use for it, let’s talk about a donation.

if I could find a frame in Large I would swap my son on to these components. My daughter needs a bike but not a 33 lb 29er. And knowing what a cheapskate I am, I will never commit to a new bike while this one is in the garage.

    I’m still on it.

I had put this up when I was rehabbing my clavicle, before realizing that all the bikes on earth had been spoken for.

If you can find me an xl Rascal, Ripmo, Hightower, or sb130, I’m open to replacing it. I don’t want to buy something I haven’t ridden, and nobody stocks a demo fleet in xl, and the Jenson website literally said they are 1768-1771 weeks back ordered on some of these. :bang:

I hadn’t seen that on the website. Do you think I could get one before 2050? Because by then I’m switching to a jet pack.

Ugh, Pinkbike’s classifieds section is soooo useless.

Just got a message asking where I got my frame bag.

Everyone asks for more pics. When I respond asking what they want pics of, they ghost me.

Is this normal? I’ve never been a merchant. And I’ve never wanted to be anywhere near sales, retail or otherwise.

In my job, I buy and sell things that are literally just figments of our imaginations at the time the contract is signed, so I’m used to protracted back-and-forth negotiations. But this seems silly…come look at the bike. If you like what you see, make an offer. Or not.

edit: my response to the last message:
It’s just a Blackburn bag I got at REI.

It’s for sale, just $1,500. I’ll throw a bike in for free.

Selling anything especially a bike can be a nightmare. I just sold an almost new Yakima 2 bike rack and people we also wanting a lot of pictures instead of just coming by my house and then offering me $100 for it and then would get mad when I told them to get f’d. I eventually got my asking price and the dude was so stoked.

I've never had a problem selling on Craig's List or Pinkbike. No game playing, no lowballing no scams.
Let's see a Knolly Endorphin, Knolly Podium, Santa Cruz V-10, Santa Cruz Megatower, a Yeti 303 R-DH and an Intense Tracer. Each went to a good home on a personal handoff for cash with no haggling.

    Just lucky, I guess.

I think this bike is just in a sweet spot where it’s too beat down and old for upgraditis buyers to consider, and maybe not what a novice would think to look for.

I posted it on PB as a 2017.

Edit: @tick, I could see people wanting to see the bike better. I shoot the bike or part with overlapping, well-lit shots from every angle. Good luck, be patient…

Every bike I have sold have been listed as ie: #### XY Model, $$$$, Size

I get more questions about how much i'm asking, what year it is, and what size it is. It's in the damn Title

I'll list all the specs, then post up lots of close up pics showing most of the specs....but I still get questions about specs that are clearly visable in the pics.

I also get alot of will you take $$$$.....yes, I can do $$$$.....then get a response back, Sorry my wife says I can only spend $$$.

Craigslist has been fine for me. Sold five bikes in the last year without any drama and within he asking "range" (all but one for the price listed). Probably a big benefit that all were pretty low end. Still have another one or two to go.

I'm hoping that you're just overthinking it, and you just have to wade through the ass***** first... Par for the course nowadays. You'll find someone who wants/needs it, and isn't a wackjob.

I'd be half tempted if it weren't a size too big.
