Except for the guy who was informed today that the kit he has on order is out of stock and won't be available till October. Looks easy enough to make what's needed though.

 

I was going to switch to a 12 speed mix of Sram and Shimano until I found out that the way I wanted to do it would not work without spending even more money.

 

Does it need a dropout upgrade, or are the present dropouts adjustable? I probably have enough parts in the garage to get you going... Beer in the fridge. Trails close.

 

It needs this stuff to work with existing dropouts...

 

I have a loaner single speed hanging on the wall.

Beer is still in the fridge, and the trails are still close.

 

I've been tempted to put one of these on my XC so I don't wear out my XTR cassette. I don't look forward to replacing that

Yes, I still have it. I bought it just a few months back, this year. It's brandy-new!

 

He'll take it. He's offering up a case of beer if you'll lower the price.

 

I'm not a beer drinker.

 

The cassette has found a new home where it will be used and enjoyed.
