I'm gonna hit Holy Jim tomorrow, and then do an Aliso Creek/Wood Canyon loop from my home on Thursday. Add in my Friday run, and I'll be ready for Harding next Sunday

I just realized I haven't been to Santiago in two years, so I'm going to be building toward some peak rides.

 

Greg, what time u hitting HJ? Could meet at HJ parking area...name a time unless you're stoked on soloing. I'm hoping to add Upper Holy, howz that sound, no rush?

 

I would always welcome the company, though I am building back from a long summer with almost no biking. I am operating at about 50% power Though I'd love to do UHJ I doubt I'll have the fuel in the tank. With the kinds of miles you guys have been knocking out recently I'm sure you could ride up and over Santiago and not bat an eye

How does 9AM sound at the upper lot sound?

I'll be trying the peak in October. Been too long.

I'm going to drag my sorry butt up Harding tomorrow at 6:30 if you're interested. Just an out and back while I get my legs back under me.

 

Bonsai, tomorrow's church day, so i can't make it out. if you end up not going, or want to go again next saturday, let me know and i'll clear that day for a peak ascent.

 

I won't be going to the peak tomorrow, that's for sure I'm just climbing to get some strength and endurance back.

I think next weekend I'll be up in Idyllwild, but I'm still game for doing the peak in October. I'm more of a Sunday rider tho just because my Saturdays are usually busy with the family... how strict are your Sunday mornings? Maybe a Saturday night service might be in order one week

 

My family's pretty involved at church, so i can't skip Sunday service. Also, I've broken bones and cracked ribs in the last few months so i try to stay on the good side of the big Guy upstairs. Peak's definitely a big chunk of my Saturday, but i figure it's about time to go back up there. If you can set aside one saturday in October, let me know and we'll plan on it.

 

Maybe the 17th?? My October Saturdays are smashed...

What you really intended to say is, " I'm bored with the crud I have to do, and don't have any time to do what I want to do!"

 

I was thinking along the lines of... I am bored with myself and am looking for the stimulation that comes from meeting new people and biking with them

 

I did the Peak today. It was a long ride. I'm up for it again before it snows up there
