Get used to it, it's not going to change no matter who is in office. This has been slowly developing over the past few decades. It's true that Trump has advanced it to the next level of silliness, but it will remain at this level forevermore even if our future leaders are better spoken. Problematic attitudes show true no matter how they are worded or expressed. Nobody in Congress gets along, not even the members within the same party. They are all guilty of throwing tantrums like little children. And even with all of this, there still isn't anywhere (another Country) on Earth I'd rather be.

 

Excellent response. It's not about what others are saying and doing as it is about what each of us are doing to make it a better world in our daily activities.

The American Dream isn't going anywhere. We, all of us here, are living it every day. It cannot be stereotyped. It is what each of us, as individuals, do with our freedom. That may vary from person to person. As long as we have that freedom, the American Dream will continue to exist, regardless of who is in office.
