We’ll wudya know? A pic of a certain Radimus seems to have landed on my lap. :whistling:

This is a medium. I'd be getting a small if I go this route.

Nice Radimus! Two bottles is impressive. And a beautiful photo, so thanks for whoever provided.

I might suggest erring on the side of generous and adjust with stem and saddle position. It is a kind of long, slack number, ye? That extra wheel base will help more than hurt, IME.

FWIW, I keep getting longer bikes and they don’t seem to inhibit tight switches. With the right bike they seem easier despite the length.

He's a mega shredder through the gnar and DH so I trust his positioning of items on the bike. But I can bury him on any climb, anywhere, anytime, lol. It pays to climb the mountains of So Cal. ;)

Right on, good to have trusted advice.

You can go ahead and compliment your uphill strength. A rider like yourself putting in time can get badass on any mountains anywhere.

Got it, good to not be in a rush.

One FS bike can be a nice quiver. I love the simplicity of it. But I will always have a soft spot for a HT. If one goes all in on 29er, sharing a wheelset between frames is an option.

    Enjoy the process. :)

"...millions of shredpackers..." :cautious: Nicely appointed for bikepacking, and not super spendy.

I'm thinking now that every HT frame should have SS capability without a tensioner, even if that means swapping out interchangeable dropouts. It's not like I'm even a SS guy – but a 2000$ HT frame should have the option, to my thinking.

Okay, this coming from a guy with a bike that pedals backward and forward.:p Apparently my will amounts to the upcharge for sliding dropouts. But I'm ever impressed by the engineering challenges that some people :geek: take on.

I knew about this company last year. A co worker at the bike shop was sponsored by the parent company Daylight bmx and I saw a prototype of it. Didn’t know they actually went into production.

Kingdom Vendetta Custom, large, 75° STA, 64.5° HA, polished finish with lots of my fingerprints. 5.1 lbs with Robert axle and ti seat collar. Sexy metallic gold Kingdom downtube decals if I choose. Bare head tube for bikepacking bag rub.

I have almost everything in hand to build it. Not a headset press. :gotnothing: But that's not stopping me from being elated.

    Nice...very nice...

A length of all-thread, some stacked fender washers, and a couple of 3/4" nuts and you'll be in business-$10 headset press.

Thanks, brother. I had that info in my back pocket, though I've never pressed in any headset. I'll be stoked if BFE has all-thread and washers big enough for tapered. Maybe check in with the auto repair shop...

The rest of the bad news:
New rear axle being sent – the one they included is 10mm too long. The packaging failed; holes in the box and very minor damage on both ends of the frame - dropout and head tube. Dropouts are replaceable, head tube is buff-able. Every used frame I've ever packaged was about five times more protected than this frame. I notified them and we've talked things through.

I read a comment, scroll back to see the bike, read another comment, scroll back to see the bike, etc... Eventually I just stared at the bike and forgot the comments.

Work of art. Geared or not...

Sucks about the damage, but it sounds like they are owning up.

For big sized hardware in BFE, check for drilling supply stores. You'd be amazed...

They are good with communication and generally eager to find solutions.

They initially wanted me to stack spacers to keep the too-long axle from sticking out on the DS – I had to make a case for an axle that fits. They also stated my box did not have those holes in it when it was shipped out and the damage resulted somehow from C-19. Aside from that fukking otherworldly weirdness, they were/are eager to get it worked out. I would have just sent my customer a new dropout and a return envelope for the old one, personally, but it's very minorly cosmetically damaged.

    That's probably an answer.
