He’s gonna ride it and remember how good it pedals compared to his Hightower and have second thoughts about selling it.

The few times I’ve ridden the Ripley since getting the Hightower were real eye openers so I’m not surprised to hear you say that. Those bikes have taken our azz’s on some really epic rides and did everything we asked em to. Bikes aren’t like cars you don’t have to pay registration and insurance for them to sit in the garage and ride em once in a while...

I filed exempt on that one when I bought her Ripley LS and since it’s always the cleanest and most shiny all I have to do is point at it. I actually considered selling my Ripley to help fund a new “down country” rig and I thought she was gonna hurt me when I told her. She’d be happy if I sold everything else and had a new V4.

What’s kinda funny is if I my replacement chainring does not come in for my Hightower, I don’t have a bike to ride Saturday!

I bought a ONEUP Dropper for Cathy’s Ibis that is going to take a little work to install as it is an internal routing on a non internal routed bike. That “may” be my Saturday project.

He only got $1,200. Not sure that will cover Disneyland prices these days.....
