Breaking News thread!

Left a company I've worked at for over 20 years, today was my last day. A real bitter sweet parting.

I'll start a new adventure in a week. Flying out to Vermont for the paperwork and the corporate stuff.
The new Gig will have me driving all over So Cal, and flying to the western states. Soooo....once i get the feel for it all a bike will be coming with me on the
Calif drives for a quickie ride.
I'm excited, something somewhat different in the works!

Congrats dude! I had a similar reinvention about 5 years ago leaving a company I'd been with for over 12 years, though in my situation I was pretty ready to go (good people, but I was way over the job). Also went from dividing my time between home and corporate offices, to most of my time being on the road. Being on the road can have some challenges obviously, but I really dig the variety of being a road warrior. Enjoy the new adventure!

I got to check out the new Message fork By Trust. It is very impressive in design and craftsmanship. In about a month we will have a demo fork and trust me I will be putting it on either of my bikes.

 

What does that thing weigh??

 

It weighs 4.3 pounds but it feels much lighter than that.

 

Roughly the same as Fox Factory 29er 140mm fork.

 

Its 4/20!!!

Hoping it was or is fantastic. Rain threatened, but I had a fun five+ hours indoors with my two guitar bros. Neither of whom observed the day.

The Sssnake is seriously considering retirement from riding hardtail mountain bikes. The harshness is killing him and it's a tragedy because he had always adored the connected sensation supplied by a hard tail. But what will become of his awesome, no longer produced, instant collector's item, glow in the dark, steel Vassago Jabberwocky?

 

Yard work...My son and I planted 200 grass pods with the help of the family Tortoise. On top of that later in the day Clyde the tortoise decided freshly planted grass tastes good and ripped one or two out of the ground and our jealous Basenji copied the tortoise and ripped one out too! IMTBtrails take me away!
