Help reopen 62 miles of trail to MtB in MT

    Please please help keep Montana open. Work with Montana Mountain Bike Alliance and come up and ride!! Don't let them take our trails anywhere! Defend.

    Done did it, but I am skeptical that form letters from some dude in CA are given much weight. No harm in trying.

    Thanks. It is federal land so belongs to all of us. Plus the forest is pivoting from more natural resource extraction focus to more recreation, so out of town visits are key. This is different from a typical travel plan comment because it is the result of a law suite that the judge found the USFS didn't get enough input from the mtb crowd, so I think total numbers count.

    “In the ruling, Judge Christensen also said that we did not provide an adequate objection response period regarding the closure of trails in Wilderness Study Areas (WSAs) to bicycles."

    Got a letter from the Dept of Ag. saying decision is delayed as they study the input from March 4th meeting... what happened then @406?

    I agree it is looking good, but wouldn't want to jinx it and call it yet until there is an official decision and the judge signs off.

    3000 comments with ~90% being pro mtb is awesome, regardless.
